I seldom do live sound work anymore ... what with my busy studio scheds. But when my friend from Faith in Jesus Church in Las Pinas got me to their live recording and FOH mixing for their latest album, i found the time and energy to do so. I've been doing their albums for like six years now and since i assume they like my work so much, i readily obliged. Posted by Picasa

here's a new bedside fixture in my room... a new laptop! since my other one is in the shop having the hinge fixed, i sort of stumbled into this one... impressive for a laptop .. i like the weight and the slim profile. Posted by Picasa
full specs are as follows:

TOSHIBA Sattelite M45-S355
Intel Pentium M processor 750 (1.8Ghz)
1024MB DDR SDRAM
100 GB (5400 rpm) HDD
15.4 WXGA display
DVD Super multi drive
802.11b/g wireless, iLINK 1394

oh and while i'm at it, i also installed a wireless router, which makes going on the net a lot easier from any part of the house now... not that i have a big house to start with.

BEEN BUSY as always

i haven't been posting on this blog since i've been busy... as always but what else is new?
i have my new guitar at home and i love the sound of it so much that it hasn't left my room except for today since i had to help out my friend Mylene who actually produces songs for Karaoke VCD's .
i seldom do arrangements for karaoke productions but Mylene is an old friend who needed my help so...

i also have a new laptop... a Toshiba Satellite M45 S355 which is a wonderfull machine. My Mitac is still being repaired since the hinge gave way. I also got a wireless router which allows me to go online from virtually anywhere in the house! Great for following recipes while you cook :-)

After a slew of finished albums from Erik Santos, Vina Moreles, and Jamie Rivera i suddenly found myself spending more time in the house than in the office. Today i found out that i will be workin soon on the new DK Tijam album and the new Jeremiah album for Reddmonn Productions which also handles OJ Mariano.... i still like the arrangement i did for OJ so you guys might want to check it out on his album, the song was written by Marlone Silva and entitled " Sana Naman"

Jon wrote and produced the Big Brother Theme song sung by the group Orange and Lemons
and today we had Sarah Geronimo singing on the new theme song for a new kid Singing Contest.

I also did the arrangement for theme music of the new cooking show " Makuha ka sa tikim"
and plus i've been hearing the soundrtack music i did for "OK Fine" you know the music you hear when there's a dramatic or hilarious moments in the show. Come to think of it... I did the theme song for that show as well :-)

I love doing music... it's probably what keeps me sane in dealing with my day to day ( mis ) adventures.
