Mixing Room

Well i haven't been going online lately because of current and on going projects... besides updating to the latest version of Pro Tools and practically setting up new equipment ... i seem to be in the middle of several albums currently on going.

We're currently mixing the new Sheryn Regis album with the single out on Love radio... titled " What i do best"... the one playing over the radio is an advance copy since i haven't finished the album yet.

Vina Morales has started vocals on her new album which is a surprising change since most of the songs will be kinda cool and laid back. I arranged and played guitars on the remake of a David Gates song called " Make it with you" which turned out really well and oh, Vina records vocals in like an hour for a whole song ... whew!

Jaime Rivera is coming out with a pop album which will feature her past songs remade for this album as well as her interpretation of classic songs. So far we've done one song ready for mixing.

Nikki Gil is currently recording vocals for her debut album for EMI... hey, this one is actually not a Star Records album.

RockSteady is now on their guitar recording stages.

Mike Bon and Edwin Marullano are both doing albums featuring songs they wrote themselves.

Erik Santos will continue recording his full album as a follow up to his Lite CD which features " I'll never go" which started out as a piano driven song but Jon asked me to do the drum programming and Bass and guitar overdubbs. Which was kinda difficult since i did not arrange the song in the first place. But hey! I got it done anyways... :-)

Oh my ! This is a lot of work... and will keep me busy for a couple of weeks. In the meantime our other studio also had its equipment upgrade plus the ability to record a whole band. So now we're making it bigger to accomodate a live band setup.
Oh and we might also record another theme song for an upcoming TV soap... again!!!
