I went to the Gloc9 album launch today at Club V which is situated near the THX theatre in Makati. As i was driving along Pasay Road with the new CD blaring inside my car, i was really amazed at the amount of talent we have in the Pinoy Hip Hop scene.
Now i'm thinking of putting up a blog that would just review CDs!
I was fortunate enough to arrange one song for his album which also featured Gayle Dizon and my son Arnold Jr on vocals on a Jon Manalo song titled Paano kaya? which is probably the most commercial track on his album as it sounds like a Nelly or a Ja Rule type of song. I like the way the album was produced. Great song selection coupled with collaborations with really good artists in the field of Pinoy Hip Hop. Artists like Francis M, Dice and K9, DJ Mod and even Keith Martin contributed a song on the album. If you want to hear a really... really good Rap Artist then i strongly recommend you get a copy of Gloc9's album availabale under Star Records. In fact one could probably say the Gloc9 us probably the best Pinoy Rapper we have right now.... well with the exception of Francis M of course! Keep up the good work Glock9!!!
